This engine mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch automated manual transmission (DCT) with rear limited slip differential and rear wheel drive as standard. A six-speed manual transmission is offered as a no-cost option. Like the M5 series, 2013 BMW M5 has a high-quality materials for the cabin, with leather stretch and gleaming aluminum. Cabin design seems a bit striking when compared with major rivals like Audi S6 and Jaguar XFR. The iDrive electronics interface it works really well for all the BMW M5 system, but can be recognized a little bit complicated, some competitor’s system is much easier to use. Chubby sports seats with 16-way adjustment feature, allowing for a very customized support. A roomy rear seat that offers the practicality is a pleasant surprise in this sports car, and large enough for adult passengers during the long trips without reducing comfort. A rear seat split-folding can increase the capacity of the cargo space up to 14 cubic feet.
